Mind Pump Podcast Episode #1710




I really feel that every podcast I've listened to from Mind Pump is pretty sound in terms of advice and content for fitness and health, so if you're interested in listening to their other podcasts, I would recommend. But I do think that as we start a new year, this one contains a lot of good reminders in a short period of time. Some key ideas include what does listening to your body mean and how to apply that concept to your health and fitness, being mindful of your tendencies and insecurities and how the help/hinder you, being less hardcore and less extreme for better results, and when you need to step back and look at the whole picture.


I just want to show too, I'm not the only person that preaches this stuff. Get to know yourself, and continue to build a relationship with yourself, and you will find so much more success in all you do. Get healthy mentally and physically, and everything else falls into place easier. It's a constant practice, but in the end it's worth it because it carries over into everything. That doesn't mean not asking for help- we all need coaches, mentors, and guides, but it does mean that a lot of the self-reflection and work is done by becoming more in tune and aware of your own habits and tendencies and addressing those specific things that relate to you, in this moment.
